Treat estimate timing and repair timing separately.
An estimate visit is an in-person inspection, usually planned for 30 to 60 minutes. It does not set the repair start or completion date. The shop will discuss a drop-off date after the repair scope and claim steps are reviewed.
Allow for insurer review and parts.
Your insurer may need to prepare an estimate, send a shop assignment or review additional damage. Parts can arrive quickly or take longer, and newly found damage may require another order. Ask the office for the current plan for your vehicle.
Confirm rental and loaner options early.
Ask the insurer whether rental coverage is included, when it begins and what daily or total limits apply. Kulavic’s has limited short-term local loaners; call the office to check availability and restrictions before relying on one for transportation.
Wait for the ready message before pickup.
Repair timing can change with parts, approvals and required work. Wait until the shop confirms the vehicle is ready, then call if you have questions about the balance, payment method or travel plans before coming to Springfield.
