State Farm calls its auto repair network Select Service. Before a Kulavic’s estimate visit, open the claim and confirm that the correct State Farm workfile or assignment is ready for the shop.
Our collision repair process- Step 01
Start or update your State Farm claim.
Tell your claim representative that you plan to use Kulavic’s and ask how the repair shop should be added to your claim. State Farm’s published process describes choosing a repair shop and arranging an estimate appointment. Only you can authorize repairs to your vehicle.
- Step 02
Confirm the shop workfile is ready.
Give Kulavic’s your claim number and the name of the handling insurer. State Farm must have the correct workfile or assignment in place before the shop can prepare its estimate for that claim. Calling first helps avoid a visit before the claim is ready for the shop.
- Step 03
Schedule an in-person estimate.
Appointments are preferred. Plan for 30–60 minutes at the shop, and call ahead because estimates may be several days out. Bring any State Farm estimate and the instructions connected to your claim.
- Step 04
Review the repair plan before drop-off.
A repair drop-off is separate from the estimate visit. The shop needs your signed authorization and required insurer steps before work proceeds. Parts, approvals, newly discovered damage and the existing schedule can affect timing.
