Open the claim with Progressive.
Report what happened and follow the instructions in your claim. Progressive may invite you to use its Guided Photo process. Photo estimates are available only when the claim qualifies, and the estimate reflects the damage visible to the insurer.

Wait for Progressive’s initial estimate.
Progressive prepares the first estimate for this shop’s Progressive claims. Do not make an estimate appointment expecting Kulavic’s to write that initial Progressive estimate. If your vehicle cannot be driven, call Progressive and our shop before arranging where it will go.
- Step 03
Call us when the estimate is ready.
Share the claim number, Progressive estimate and any repair instructions. We will discuss whether the vehicle needs an in-person shop inspection and what is needed to continue through the claim file. Appointments are preferred; plan for 30–60 minutes and call ahead because estimate availability may be several days out.
- Step 04
Confirm authorization and the repair plan.
An estimate visit is separate from a repair drop-off. Before repairs proceed, the shop needs your signed authorization and the required claim steps. Additional damage found during repair may need an updated estimate and insurer review. Parts and the shop schedule affect timing.

02Does a photo estimate show all of the damage?
