Farmers Guaranteed Repair Program
Farmers describes its Guaranteed Repair network as one repair option after a claim is filed. At Kulavic’s, the Farmers workfile and assignment need to be in place before we write the shop estimate.
Our collision repair process- Step 01
File your claim with Farmers.
Farmers’ auto claim information describes filing a claim and then choosing how to have the vehicle repaired. Tell your claim representative that you want Kulavic’s and ask how to have the shop connected to your claim.
- Step 02
Have Farmers prepare the shop workfile.
The shop needs the correct Farmers workfile and assignment before it can write its estimate for the claim. Call Kulavic’s with the claim number and confirm that Farmers has sent or prepared the assignment before making an estimate appointment.
- Step 03
Arrange the estimate visit.
Estimates are in person at the shop. Appointments are preferred and may be several days out. Plan for 30–60 minutes and bring any estimate, claim instructions and relevant photos Farmers requested.
- Step 04
Confirm the repair steps and timing.
Before work begins, the shop needs your signed repair authorization and the required Farmers claim steps. A change in damage may require an updated estimate and further insurer review. Parts and the repair schedule affect the drop-off plan and timing.

01Does Farmers need to approve an estimate before the shop can start?
Farmers describes a network repair option that can avoid a separate Farmers-approved estimate before repairs. The shop still needs the correct Farmers workfile and assignment before writing its estimate. Ask your claim representative what review and authorization your specific claim requires.
02Should I come in before Farmers assigns the claim to the shop?
Call Farmers and Kulavic’s first. The shop cannot prepare its estimate in the Farmers claim file until the correct workfile and assignment are available. Appointments are preferred, so confirming the claim setup can save an extra trip.
03Which Guaranteed Repair benefits and timing apply to my claim?
Ask Farmers which Guaranteed Repair benefits apply, and confirm rental eligibility and limits before arranging transportation. Kulavic’s will discuss the current shop schedule once the estimate, insurer steps, parts and repair slot are confirmed.
