Allstate calls its network the Good Hands Repair Network. Start the claim with Allstate, coordinate any required tow through its claim instructions and confirm the correct Allstate workfile before the shop estimate.
Our collision repair process- Step 01
Open the Allstate claim before the estimate visit.
Start the claim with Allstate and tell the claim representative that you want to use Kulavic’s. Allstate may offer a photo inspection on eligible claims. Follow its directions and save the claim number and any estimate or photo instructions.
- Step 02
Coordinate towing through the claim instructions.
If the vehicle cannot be driven, contact Allstate before arranging a tow. Confirm the destination, authorization and who will arrange or pay for the tow before the vehicle moves. Then call Kulavic’s with the claim number, the vehicle’s location and the towing plan.
- Step 03
Confirm the Allstate workfile before the shop estimate.
The shop needs the correct Allstate claim workfile and assignment before it can write its estimate in that file. Call us with your claim details first. We can confirm whether an in-person estimate appointment is the next step.
- Step 04
Set the repair plan after the estimate.
Appointments are preferred and estimates may be several days out. An estimate visit is separate from repair drop-off. Your signed authorization, Allstate’s required claim steps, parts and the current shop schedule affect when work can proceed. Newly found damage may need another estimate review.

01Should I arrange a tow before I contact Allstate?
Contact Allstate first and follow the claim’s towing instructions. Confirm the destination, who will arrange the tow and who may be responsible for its cost before moving the vehicle. Call Kulavic’s with the claim number and tow details as well.
02Does an Allstate photo estimate replace the shop estimate?
Allstate may offer a photo inspection for eligible claims. For an estimate at Kulavic’s, Allstate needs the correct workfile and assignment in place first. Share the insurer estimate and instructions with us so we can confirm whether the vehicle needs an in-person shop inspection.
03Will Allstate cover every repair or my rental?
Ask your Allstate claim representative which damage is covered and what deductible, towing and rental benefits or limits apply. Kulavic’s can explain the repair estimate and current shop schedule after reviewing the vehicle, claim steps and parts.
